[wellylug] copy of mandrake / suse

I can give you a copy of the PCLinuxOS v0.7 disk. It has worked well on every
system I've tried, incl laptops. One old Tosh which failed to run Knoppix had
no trouble. Sound/lan.graphics all auto detected & work fine.

It does need 256b ram to run, which may be a problem... 

It's a live CD like Knoppix, but based on Mandrake 9.2, with support for both
RPM & Debian apt-get packages. Being a LiveCD you can try it without
installing, if it works, install to hard drive is trivial.

As a working LiveCD it has the best hardware detection & polished KDE based
window mgr of any I've tried.
