[wellylug] LICQ/RH9 problem

My suggestion is that you switch to gaim.  After all, since AOL bought
out ICQ, they've made the two services fully compatible... more or
less.  I know licq is a cool program, but it's really been made
obsolete by the newer apps.  The fact that both ICQ and AIM now use
the same protocol has a lot to do with this.

If you require a QT-based solution then, you might want to try kopete.
 I believe that kopete is now part of the kde distribution.
