Have you looked at Game Boy Advance?

The new DS devices look like they have great potential with 2 ARMs and
wi-fi.

Why do you need 230kbaud?

Do you need uCLinux on it or is standard Linux OK? - if so a  how about
an ITX solution.

I have some 2900s and a soldering iron :-)
