Yeah, RH does take some getting used to. I recently had a server
crash at home - the OS disk decided to eat itself. It wasn't pretty.
I ended up going with RH9 instead of going back to Debian because I
have a HighPoint RocketRaid 454 card in there (uses the hpt374 driver)
and I'm using hardware RAID5 on it. I had a *LOT* of problems getting
the driver built for Debian and decided to go with one of the distros
that Highpoint had a driver packaged for. RH9 was the most recent. I
got it up and running within about 20 minutes of OS installation.

I think it was actually a good choice now that YUM is available for
RH9. Now I'll have some of the ease of auto dep. checking with the
install, and an easier way to update my system. I'm a bit bummed that
it's RH, but since I've been using RH at work for the last several
months, I'm back into the swing of it.

Anyhow, just my 2c worth. I would suggest installing FC3 over FC1
though. You can't easily upgrade using yum from FC1 to FC3. It's a
long, drawn-out, and painful process. It's much easier to install
from the CDs (or DVD if you have the DVD iso.)
