Yes, I am at Linux.Conf.Au 2005 in Canberra at present. I've come across
about a dozen other New Zealanders here -- not including David Antliff
who I didn't realise was here -- but most of them are not from Wellington.
IIRC there's one other Wellylug person (Glen Ogilvie?) here too. (There
are 500 attendees in total; they sold out about two weeks in advance.)
Some of the talks so far have been very interesting. And some of them
a little more "introductory" than I was hoping for. The Asterisk one
falls into more of the "introductory" level, largely due to lack of
presentation time I think. The talk at Wellylug next month (Roger de
Salis, Voip/Asterisk) should cover much of the same ground (having heard
Roger give similar talks in the past).
BTW I believe some/all of the Linux.conf.au talks are being recorded,
so with luck there will be audio files made available eventually.
Unfortunately I get the impression that some of the audio quality will
be fairly poor for various recording reasons though (eg, speakers not
using/able to use microphones). If so all I can suggest is "book early
for Dunedin next year".

PS: David: email me directly if you want to try to track me down at the
conference.
