I know this will most likley be covered at the next meeting, but :)
I have just installed Asterisk for home use, and am playing around with
Linphone.
I have it successfully registered with the asterisk server, and now I get
these errors.....
Apr 23 11:34:09 WARNING[648]: chan_sip.c:694 retrans_pkt: Maximum retries
exceed ed on call 3211424017 at 192.168.100.22 for seqno 20 (Non-critical
Response)
Apr 23 11:34:16 WARNING[648]: chan_sip.c:694 retrans_pkt: Maximum retries
exceeded on call 3068701348 at 192.168.100.22 for seqno 20 (Non-critical
Response)
When I am not registered as a sip user, I am able to call some extentions
I set up and can communicate OK with them...
As soon as I register, I get no audio.. Asterisk can tell that the call
was connected, and will play Voicemail, or whatever I have told that
extention to do, but it's not heard by linphone, and infact linphone still
thinks that it's connecting to the extention.
I have this in sip.conf:
[4702]
type=friend
username=4702
callerid=Ext 4702 <4702> ; NO QUOTES!
context=default
secret=*****
qualify=no ; linphone will become unreachable if qualify=yes
host=dynamic
nat=yes
canreinvite=yes
;disallow=all ; only the sensible codecs
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw
allow=gsm
This was taken from voip-info.org or whatever the site is, and it said
that this was the only way they got linphone 0.12.2 to work with Asterisk.
Any ideas or a softphone replacement for linux?
Thanks..
