Okay, in plain old Debian, 'apt-get install kbackup' would be the
command to use.  It should do the downloading automatically as long as
you have the appropriate lines in /etc/apt/sources.list and 'apt-get
update' has been run at least once by you or by the system.

Since you now have incomplete packages though, you might need to first
do 'apt-get --fix-broken install', and possibly 'dpkg --configure -a'
once or twice.  'apt-get --fix-missing install' is also a possibility.
