a) I'm not imposing my views on anyone. I asked nicely, and 
after the thread had pretty well stopped.

b) It's not "rigid dogma". It's politeness and etiquetter.

c) Having to scroll up and down is real PITA! It turns 
reading a posting into a puzzle.
