Usually the podcast announcements go out once a fortnight when the new 
episodes have been uploaded to the mirror.

Due to recieving a number of entries after the first announcement that 
did not include important information, I felt that I needed to re-send 
it and include the contest details.

With the podcasts being in the form of an audio file people can't point 
and click to read on further. But to combat this I will build a website 
that people can come and visit. What would then happen is I would post 
to the list once a fortnight, at the most once a week if there is a big 
competition, and point them to the website where they can either 
download an episode or follow whats happening with the competitions.
