Or dmesg -c > file and then email file once a day

But Make Sure only to do -c once a day as it clears the messages

Easier than playing with regex ;-)

I've never seen 'command | file' before. Generates an error for me. I
just 
thought he might have meant 'command > file' or even 'command |
command'. 
Am I missing something here?
