Thanks again. smartctl -c reports that all drives are SMART enabled and
'Okay'. This is not a production array, just a second hand one that was
acquired a while back. I'm mostly through a badblocks scan of all drives
with no errors reported so far. I'll scan the suspect drive a couple
more times after that to be sure. Might even be a dodgy cable for all I
know.
