I have Office 97, and I like the outliner in Word for thinking, designing...

And I don't have the slightest problem running Word (97 in my case) in WINE,
or Excel if I wanted. Gnumeric however is so compatible with Excel I
understand it runs Excel macros. (I read this a while ago, and don't do
Excel macros, so don't know myself.)

That's what WINE is for, and focused on.

I've run AutoCAD on WINE.

A lot cheaper for a business than paying Microsoft. Xandros's CrossOver
Office does an even better job of running Windows software.

Cheers,
Bret
