I wouldn't worry about it a lot.  Most of the things that have been said to me 
online, I can re-read as if a friend or workmate were saying them, and I'll 
realize that it is something someone like that could say to me in 
conversation.  And it's a different tone than I first read it in.

But of course it's from strangers on line.
