These big clusters also use 128mb Flash cards for hard drives and only
have about 512mb of ram, take this in to account, if each one can render
one frame every 2 seconds and you have 300 of them then that 150fps,
which is faster than realtime. and when buying in that sort of bulk PC
makers will fight for the buisness so it all comes down to who's
cheapest. you can bet that the big machines running the render farm are
dual or quad xeons (EMT64) with 4 - 12gb of ram and windows server 2003
