Summat was gonna change anyway with the Connectiva merger/takeover.

Personally, as someone currently using Mandrake, SuSE & Ubuntu on my 3 boxes at
home, I don't really care which Linux I use as long as it works, is easy to
install the packages I want to use & is stable/robust. (I know, what a slut,
eh!!)

Mandrake & SuSE both rate really high (IMHO). Ubuntu is way better than Fedora
but well behind the other two. My brief dabblwe with Debian left me
unimpresssed. Holier than thou distro coz it's untainted with anything non-OS.

I prefer a distro which simply provides all the stuff I want irrespective of
such philosophising.

Your opinion may vary. Just be thankful for the choices!!

So I don't mind how Mandrake name their releases, work done to be ready for
10.2 will not be wasted, as there will still be an upgrade to 10.1 coming
out, wotever it is called.... bitching about naming & release cycles is making
mountains out of molehills, as long as the quality remains I'll stay :-)

You did ask :-)

 Brent
