20 hours is about three days work. I can understand a hobbiest taking
that long, but if you paid for it, then you'd expect at least better
than your average Linux friend (who would do it for free beer).
I would kindly ask them to justify their time. Ask for timesheets. Ask
them whether they charged you for anything besides time
(consultancy?).
I installed apache and php on Ubuntu, and it was literally two
selections in apt-get and one config tweak. The longest part of
installing Ubuntu was deciding the partitioning... The other stuff, i
dont know. Tomcat is pretty straightforward.
