[wellylug] Suse 10 & GCC

Well I'm new to Suse and I was just trying to do a simple ./configure &&
make but there's no compiler installed and when I looked in the software
manager in Yast there was no sign of GCC (just wanted to check from Suse
users what's normal here).

Actually I was hoping to install a better modem dialer for Gnome like
gnome-ppp. (wvdial modem0 from a root terminal does work although it causes
netapplet to crash with an error message say that it quit unexpectedly).
