[wellylug] Unexplained (so far) incompatibility of USB card reader and Linux PC

Don't know if this helps or not.  I use mandriva LE and this made it 
recognise my card reader and camera.

USB devices:
Enable 'acpi' in MCC boot, options on boot – this made LE recognise and 
use my USB card reader, camera, and mouse.
