My point exactly. Most people would when asked what they run give the 
name of the distro, not the kernel. Same applies in the Winders world, I 
feel, though you'd need a much finer feeler gauge to measure the gap 
between the kernel and everything else on Winders, than you would on, 
say,Ubuntu.
