Mixed reviews.

I run Ubuntu Dapper on a machine with an nvidia card and nobody has been
able to make it work with the binary drivers.  The GPL 'nv' driver works
but the performance on basic things like scrolling a web page is really
annoyingly slow.

I know a number of people who run the binary driver with no problems,
but I really wish my old machine with the integrated intel video hadn't
blown up because it worked much better.
