Temporary contracts, ie fixed term contracts, are for a specified period
of time AND to achieve a specified goal. The contract terminates at the
completion of the task/period of time.
If the nature of the work is ongoing and regular, rather than specifically
to achieve a particular goal, then a fixed term contract is, to say the
least, not appropriate.
