Ok I decided to go around the problem
I added the scsi emulation into grub
And ended up with


hdc: attached ide-scsi driver.
scsi0 : SCSI host adapter emulation for IDE ATAPI devices
  Vendor: TOSHIBA   Model: CD-ROM XM-1502BS  Rev: 1012
  Type:   CD-ROM                             ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Attached scsi CD-ROM sr0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0

So I know now that is here, detected etc .. 
just a matter for me to RTFM
