Interesting.
There seems to be lot more people who have been using Linux in any
capacity - both on the desktop and as a server for more than four years
than in any other capacity.
Slightly less than half of those surveyed on the desktop survey use
Linux for more than four years,
slightly less than a quarter not using Linux at all on the desktop,
and exactly one third using Linux on the desktop for less than four
years, with not quite half of that third so far using Linux on the
desktop only for less than six months.
That appears to suggest, IMHO, that we have a goodly number of people
who are experienced users and also a goodly number of people who are
very new to Linux.
What sort of resources or information, or guidance, do experienced,
longer-term users think WellyLUG itself could provide for new people
coming along to WellyLUG that would help them to avoid any potential
traps?
