What we have is a free (effective reliable & well supported) listerver for
wellylug. Apart from requirements for common courtesy, the only rule is that no
advertising is posted, so the list doesn't degenerate into yet another
buy/sell/swap/give list. We have wlug_trade for this purpose.

If anyone is not happy with this restriction, don't just annoy everyone else
with your petty intolerance.

Over the years we have (mostly :-) been pretty comfortable with the
restriction, and have appreciated the list provider, who we should be thanking
for the service, not annoying to the point he says no more.

What really spoils the atmosphere here are boorish, ignorant & arrogant posts
from people who are not happy with a spirit of cooperation, but prefer to abuse
the services donated by others who actively contribute to Wellylug. It's not as
if the rules are onerous or plentiful.

I agree with Andrej, if you don't like the rule(s) in this house, go live
somewhere else.
