Depends, are you advising me to buy this wonderful item for only a few $$?

Is your item the most recommended (aka advertised) one in NZ?

What is avertising in this context is in the eye of the list owner. We use the
service under his rules, his definition. I'll give you a ride in my car, but
there will be a no smoking rule (this includes a no Debian rule by the way, I
don't discriminate between them :-)

Given the volume this topic has generated, perhaps those who believe they just
can't abide by the no advertising rule on the main list, and are too lazy to
use wlug_trade for any LUG advertising posts, might get together to provide a
new list where they can freely post without rules?

LUG members can join whichever they are more comfortable with.

This might apply to meetings as well? All those of us with commercial interests
can have a 10 minute slot at each meeting to advertise our services to other
members. Everyone can all bring all the PC's and other items we want to trade
as well.

Oh, but wouldn't that be a garage sale/swap meet instead of a LUG?
We'll be WellyTrade!

Anyone feel like discussing the weather? Wet today again isn't it :-)
Not a bad surf either.
Viz is down though.
Anyone for a days fishing?
Gotta sell my car- a bargain!
Inner city apartment for rent.
Wanna meet cute members of the opposite sex, or the appropriate inclination?
Speaking of members, you big lug, is your's big enough?
Psst, do you know what OEM software is?

Wow, look what fun advertising will be! Lets open the list up, that's heaps
better than keeping to discussing Linux, what do you think we're here for!!

  Brent
