I have an Asus A6u Everything on that works straight off except the 
modem on Kubuntu, The modem works straight off using Suse 10.1 so I know 
it will work if I can be bothered working out how to do it. I had set up 
Kubuntu on another Asus laptop (not sure on what model number it was) 
and that also worked straight off.
