I had a conversation near the end of the InstallFest with a
gentleman who wanted to install Ubuntu in all the computers
in a certain classroom at St. Bernards' secondary school in Lower Hutt.
We were out of Edubuntu , and the ltsp model did not seem to be what he
was after.
He said that he "worked for Justice" and that they regularly disposed of
second hand PIII's. He proposed giving one to each pupil, together with
Ubuntu. He wanted to involve Silicon, so I forwarded him upstairs ..
It's probably too soon to quantify the outcome, but Jethro may wish
to add a few more items to his summary of Installfest installs.
