[wellylug] Modem worked in 2.4 kernel and doesn't in 2.6

Hi All,

Looking to install HylaFax on Dapper. HylFax worked fine on same box running
RH8 but Cant get it to work on Dapper. Output from /var/log/messages

So isapnp "sees" the modem but trying to install HylaFax to /dev/ttyS0 or
/dev/ttyS1 fails

Read something about pnpdump but it seems to only apply to 2.4 kernels

Any and all help appreciated
