just keep in mind that some cdrom  cannot read cdrw disc very well.
using cdr  will do. if you have another cdrom, swap them. some just
cannot read some discs. or maybe your cdrom is defective. yet make
sure the cd is bootable first. I heard some people used debian floppy
boot disk to boot it up sucessfully. I am not sure that, but can give
it a try if it is still a problem booting up from the CD.
