Hi Cliff,
sorry for my lack of etiquette, I did know this but I guess it all went out
the door in my haste to get up and going and the volume of help I'm
receiving from the list.
I only have ram of 128 and occasionally the message comes up that
I'm running out. The motherboard I have will only support 1GB should I
upgrade to this?
I had a post from Jim Cheetham who suggested I run AdAware,Spybot and
ClamWin. I downloaded the latest of these last evening and received quite a
surprise at how infected my machine was. So far today I haven't as yet had a
crash.
I will try the library tomorrow for a book on Unix/Linux,cheers Leo
