I had adaware but had had problems when running it. However I downloaded
the latest build last night and found 94 critical objects all data miner.
Did the same with spybot and found 42 nasties and today ran ClamWin and
found 4 viruses in Word.
I feel as though I should try and run the Ubuntu disk again and see
what I get as nearly half of the infections found by Spybot were in my
registry files.
One question though:
I have a virus checker on my machine from Computer Associates called
E-Trust. It auto updates and is supposed to check all incoming. As ClamWin
needs to be manually updated and doesn't appear to be on all the time will
the two conflict?cheers Leo.
