[wellylug] email is not FTP

Hi List,

I keep running into an issue where staff in places I work in keep trying to
use email as FTP and sending large word and powerpoint attachments. Both the
sending and recieving SMTP servers have to be able to deal with the large
files and a lot of the time the sending fails. Does the list have any
suggestions for a solution (preferably linux based and FLOSS) to this
recurring situation?

How do you deal with in in your organisation?
