the website needs improving...
/me hangs his head in shame.
I need to make it easier for new users to follow and get an
understanding of Linux. I'll try and make some time to do improvements.

A yearly/biyearly/quadyearly get together is actually quite a good idea
- it would be useful for when more complex problems need to be looked
at, to show off new stuff, and allows people who might not be able to
come to meetings, a chance to attend.
The events could cover:
- Presentations
- Technical Assistance
- Chat
- Show & Tell. ;-)
Monthly meetings are still nice, but attendance has been getting low in
the past year or so, and it appears (to me anyway) that most of the
people showing up are the same people to hang out with other luggies
(not that this is a bad thing, it's just that the meetings don't seem to
attract that many new users).
Still, if we can, it would be good to keep the meetings going for these
people.
I'll chuck up a poll to get a rough idea of what people think about the
expo-style event idea, so I know what the general opinion is.
