Hi All,
I am going to finish the "Networking Engineering" course in a month.
After that, there is a field site training, which we will be assigned
to do some practical things in one of IT companies for a month.
It is a good thing. But most situations are working in the windows
environment. I am a big fan of Unix, playing around with different
unix favors for about four years. I have some entry certifications
,suchas RHCT,CCNA. I prefer to find myself a field site to work for
in Unix environments. Because I am fond of coding and doing some
supports in the unix environment.
As I know, there are more junior positions in windows system than in
unix system in the job market. I am probably easy to find a kind of
helpdesk entry job in windows environment, but I am afraid once I get
in to the door, I will be hard to get into unix world again.
If you were me, what do you think? get a job first or wait for a
chance to get in the Unix's door? I know the list is for linux or unix
users, so I wanna get some advice from here.
Kind regards,
Mian
