Yes, I am in Wellington. I have been helping a couple of upgrade
projects for some companies (like unsys and datacraft) and a
government department. I did some on-site helpdesk role after
upgrading pcs, but just helping users get used to the windows system.
I am not bad at windows system. I have some of certifications related
to the Microsoft windows. (dont wanna show up here). My initial
objective of studying computer science in uni was to improve my
programming and ASP skill in windows. "Unfortunately", I was studying
Computer Science in the linux environment when I was in Otago. I was
impressed by my tutor who used uml to vvirtualize lab work and using
PERL to do some awesome work.
What I am concerning is I am keen to work in unix environment and
wanna embark on this career path.
