I've been running a Buffalo 54G DSL modem+router + wi-fi thing for the
past 3-ish years. So far, it has never had any faults or caused any
problems. It also runs some flavour of Linux and has SSH access.

I plan to look for another Buffalo box when this one dies or becomes
obsolete.
