Well that was fun: I got an error when I tried to view Jethro's link, 
something about FF not sending a legit request to the server. Or 
something - it's gone now. So I was just about to dash off a response to 
Jethro, but thought 'Hang on a minute!'. So I went to some other https 
sites and bingo! None of them worked. Restarted my proxy. Restarted the 
browser. Nothing! Then I noticed that a FF package was due for download. 
I'm pretty sure that I had one yesterday, so this was suspicious. 
Downloaded and install the FF package, restarted it, and it worked!!!


So there may be a bum FF package out there....

BTW I use Ubuntu 6.06.
