Although at this point in time it is only a few selected models that are 
offering the Ubuntu option and until actual sales figures are (if ever) 
announced the pressure on hardware vendors won't be that great.

Has any information on price been released?
The last time Dell had an option to buy a desktop without any operating 
system it worked out almost cheaper to get one with Windows pre-installed.
It would be terrible to see the same thing happen here...
