hi all,

I came across 3 different problems recently that caused me a few
headaches, and may be of some interest to people on this list.

1) Be careful when making yum repository mirrors using the files on the
ISO images.

2) I needed to adjust a date by -1 months in perl, and it took me a
little while to find a decent function to do it.

3) NEVER, EVER, EVER use pvmove to move an LVM physical volume which
contains the root partition whilst the system is running.

cheers,
