Yes, in so far as each OS will take up disk space & you have 80Gb to use.
Live CD's & DVD's should not alter anything on your HDD unless you specifically instruct them to.
To install other Ubuntu/Linux distros you have two approaches available.
Use a boot loader as the menu for them, which requires you to install them
natively onto the hard drive, generally in its own partition. So you will need to resize the existing partition to free up drive space.
Use a virtual machine, VMware, etc... this uses your existing install as the native OS, & allows you to run a second (& third, etc) OS as a virtual system under the first. This allows more than one to run concurrently, from the native system's partition. It also means your hardware is working harder, & your laptop does not have a lot of cpu or memory to spare. I'd at least throw another Gb of memory at it to support this approach. Cheap enough these days & easy to install on that laptop (my daughter has one)
