[wellylug] motherboards for linux

[Bob Dugan]

I want to build a desktop for opensuse or ubuntu.  Any recommendations for a motherboard?  Any experience with Asus MNPV-VM?  It gets a compatibility rating at http://en.opensuse.org/HCL.

Unfortunately I have been told by the main developer that the soft I am 
using the more (cinelerra) is not optimized for the Cell CPU on the PS3.
so ... too bad I have to forget.
