[wellylug] 5G Ipod video and linux firmware

I strongly recommend rockbox (http://rockbox.org) - it's brilliant! I
usually get around 14.5 hours of battery life from mine, playing q3 ogg
files (~112kbits/sec) and a modest amount of GUI usage. I recommend you
change the default skin - it looks ugly, and any skin with peak meters will
eat the battery like there's no tomorrow (the default skin falls into this
category).

It also manages its own database, so no need for itunes etc.
