on his offer to leave his DVD with some-one who could burn a Dual Layer DVD. 

I have downloaded the 9.2 FTP iso as it only uses a single layer rather than
dual layer disk. I have just burnt it to a single layer DVD-R and tested it in
both 32bit and 64bit computers with no problems.

You can give me a ring to organise a swap. Hopefully you still have my home
phone number I sent to your hotmail account last year?
