[wellylug] Region-Free Firmware for Pioneer DVR-112D

Hi,

I've got a new (never used) Pioneer DVR-112D DVD drive with ver 1.21 of 
firmware.

Have found and downloaded DVRFlash for LINUX, but never done anything 
like this before.

Am now trying to find a "hacked" version of the kernel firmware and 
normal firmware for the drive, so that I can make the drive "region 
free" (RPC-1).

Anyone know where I can download the firmware to do this?  My Googling 
seems to send me in circles.

Also, something of a step-by-step?  They mention arguments but not much 
of an explanation or list of them all.

Parts of rpc1.org are down.  maybe I'll do better when it's forums are 
back up again.
