Hi Rob,

I would try changing the Modem port under the Modem tab in the point to 
point properties where you entered the isp phone number and 
username/password. I would start with /dev/modem and then work my way 
down until hopefully one connects, or at least makes the modem light up. 
I would also put the volume setting on high while testing.
