[wellylug] Use of Graphical Setup

Based on what you said about the terminal and the graphical setup of
modems not being the same thing I persevered.  In the end I uninstalled
Ubuntu (very easy with Wubi).  I then reinstalled it and was able to get
the graphical interface to work.  I must have messed up a setting with
all the things I was trying.

I've even gotten Evolution working.  Who would have guessed that it has
to be set to 'on-line' for send-receive to work?  Nevertheless this
e-mail has been sent from Evolution with the modem set up with the
graphical interface.
