Hey Rimu,
Buying another card is not really an option right now. This little event
occurred on my "Windows" machine. (boots XP and Ubuntu) I was really trying
to drop Windows completely. I have a dedicated Ubuntu box acting as my
server. It has an Nvidia card and works perfectly.
That really sucks about the ATI drivers. I was hoping to install Ubuntu on
my laptop but it has a mobile ATI card. I guess I can give it a go in a duel
boot type situation as well.
Thanks again,
Ray
