[wellylug] Ubuntu Alternate CD version mixing

Hi,

I've got Ubuntu 8.04.1 installed and running on my personal system.

(Thank you, but I do NOT want to upgrade to a newer version.)

I would like to get the Ubuntu Alternate Install CD, to use as a Rescue
Disk, and for some other stuff.

Every time Google points me to a web site where I can download the 8.04.1
Alternate ISO, all I REALLY see there is the 8.04.3 offering.

Is it =dangerous= to mix an 8.04.3 Alternate Install boot-up on an 8.04.1
system?

If yes, does anyone know where I can REALLY get an 8.04.1 Alternate image?
