Well, so-so in terms of Skype and so on: their PulseAudio integration is
reported to leave a lot to be desired, and the most common complaint is
that Skype and friends are left in the cold.

This might improve with the next release but has certainly been a
consistent complaint everything since 8.04, I fear.

So-so, in my experience. Updates between versions are not that painful,
like Debian, and updates within a release are generally pretty solid.

Moving between releases was a bit of a game of Russian roulette, though,
in a "which features that I use have they dropped or broken this time?"
sort of way.

*shrug* Personally, I went back to Debian/testing for workstations and
found that a mostly positive experience — it showed how much work Ubuntu
had put into "just works" features out of the box, but it hasn't
randomly dropped support for anything I use, so wins there.
