What version of MYOB are you trying to get working?

Wine 0.9.9 is quite old, so a newer version might help.  I also suggest
you 
try crossover office.  Crossover office is a commercial version of wine,
that
is easier to use and may work better for you.  You can download an
evaluation
version from http://www.codeweavers.com

MYOB Accounting v17, has a silver rating with crossover office, so should
work ok for you.
